Formal Alumni Associations
No matter where life takes you, SRU graduates remain part of the community for the rest of their lives. Whether it’s through volunteering, joining an affinity group, attending events or Reunion, posting a Launch Bridges project, engaging in online learning opportunities, or giving back financially, there are many ways to stay connected with other alumni and with the life of the University.
SRU’s three formal Alumni Associations create a space in which SRU’s alumni can interact within a community of people who shared a unique experience, whether as undergraduates or graduate students. The Alumni Associations take a leadership role in developing, planning, promoting and delivering quality programs and services designed to keep you connected to the SRU community.
Affinity Networks
Regional Clubs
Affinity networks offer opportunities for alumni to connect with one another, students and the University around topics and issues of shared interest. Affinity programming is possible through the active involvement of alumni volunteers, and the Office of Alumni and Parent Communities is eager to help alumni develop new networks.
Regional clubs play an important role in the University’s alumni engagement and education efforts. Working in collaboration with the Office of Alumni and Parent Communities, regional clubs organize programming in their local area to encourage alumni interaction and to strengthen alumni connections to SRU.

Women's Giving Circle
University should be open to the brightest, most motivated students, whatever their background. If you agree, then here’s your chance to help us level the playing field. Fancy supporting someone to study on your old course, helping women into STEM or giving budding entrepreneurs their first break? With your help, we can give more enthusiastic and talented students the benefit of a Springfield Research University experience.
No one should have to give up on their dreams of university study because of the financial cost. That’s why we created the Women’s Giving Circle. With your help, we can give more women from underrepresented backgrounds the opportunity to achieve a degree. The Circle helps talented, hardworking female students – mainly on STEM courses – to cover their living expenses via scholarships. By reducing the financial pressure, you can help these women access university, succeed academically and pursue their ideal careers.
